Local supporters were invited to an evening Reception and tour of the laboratories in the Medical Research Institute in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Warwick on 9th. September.
Great interest and a sense of urgency is apparent in the search for new antibiotic drugs to combat increasing bacterial resistance to those we already use. Valuable work, supported by the charity, is being done here in the University and this chance for a tour of the laboratories highlighted this research.
Professor Chris Dowson and his team showed us all what is being achieved.
Local residents have been continuous and generous in their support over the years through fund raising and donations from Charitable Trusts. We are extremely grateful for everything that has been done.
The evening was being sponsored by Micropathology Ltd who pay all the charity overheads.
