Reducing arsenic accumulation in rice grains - progress
With the support fund from the Medical and Life Sciences Research Fund and other major funding from Govt of India and GCRF-Warwick University, United Kingdom, Assistant Professor Mohan TC has started his own plant molecular biology laboratory at JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysore (https://jssuni.edu.in/jssaher/School-ofLifeSciences-Mysuru/division-of-biotechnology-and-bioinformatics.aspx).
Our bursary has greatly helped him to purchase a plant growth chamber and other consumables necessary for his project. Currently he is supervising a PhD student and expecting to expand his team.
